The AIMS Committee 2026 successfully held a coordination meeting as part of the preparation for the upcoming ASEAN International Mobility for Students (AIMS) Program. The meeting brought together coordinators, academic representatives, international office staff, and administrative personnel involved in the implementation of international student mobility activities. The coordination meeting served as an important platform to strengthen collaboration and ensure the readiness of all participating institutions for the AIMS 2026 program.

During the meeting, participants discussed several important aspects related to the implementation of the program, including the overall timeline, student recruitment and selection procedures, academic requirements, credit transfer mechanisms, and course mapping between partner universities. Administrative and technical preparations were also reviewed to ensure that students would receive proper academic support and guidance throughout the mobility program.

The discussion also emphasized the importance of strengthening communication and cooperation with partner universities across Southeast Asia. Participants highlighted that the AIMS Program not only promotes academic exchange but also encourages intercultural understanding, international collaboration, and the development of global perspectives among students. Through the program, students are expected to gain valuable international academic experiences and improve their adaptability in diverse cultural and educational environments.

In addition, the coordination meeting addressed several important matters related to student welfare and support services, including orientation programs, accommodation arrangements, travel preparation, and academic mentoring. The committee reaffirmed its commitment to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all students participating in the AIMS 2026 program.

The ASEAN International Mobility for Students (AIMS) Program continues to play an important role in strengthening educational cooperation among universities in Southeast Asia. Through active coordination and careful preparation, the AIMS Committee 2026 hopes that the upcoming program will provide meaningful academic, cultural, and personal experiences for participating students while fostering the development of globally competitive graduates.
