As part of this commitment, an evaluation session was conducted for the AIMS (Asian International Mobility for Students) Inbound Program 2026, involving international students currently studying at the Faculty of Agriculture. One of the participants in this evaluation was Han Sangyeol, an inbound student from Gyeongsang National University (GNU), South Korea, who spent one semester studying at the Faculty of Agriculture UGM through the AIMS Program. The evaluation aimed to gather feedback on academic experiences, cultural adaptation, student support services, and other aspects of the program that could be further improved in future implementations.

During his stay at UGM, Han Sangyeol participated in academic courses, interacted with local and international students, and experienced Indonesian culture firsthand. These experiences not only broadened his academic perspective but also provided valuable insights into Indonesia’s educational system and social environment.

The evaluation session covered various aspects of the program, including administrative processes, academic activities, learning facilities, student services, and cultural experiences while living in Yogyakarta. Feedback from inbound students plays an essential role in helping the Faculty of Agriculture continuously improve the quality of its international programs and ensure a meaningful learning experience for future participants.

The AIMS Program is one of the leading student mobility initiatives in Asia, designed to strengthen collaboration among universities, promote intercultural understanding, and provide students with valuable international academic experiences through exchange opportunities.

Through this evaluation, the Faculty of Agriculture UGM seeks to further enhance the implementation of international mobility programs while fostering an inclusive academic environment that supports knowledge exchange across countries and cultures. Insights from students such as Han Sangyeol provide valuable input for the continuous development of high-quality and sustainable international programs.

This activity contributes to the achievement of SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
