The Faculty of Agriculture Universitas Gadjah Mada conducted the interview selection process for prospective students participating in the Asian International Mobility for Students (AIMS) Programme 2026. The activity was organized as part of the university’s commitment to supporting international academic mobility and preparing students to participate in global learning experiences through collaborative programs among universities in Asia.
The interview session involved prospective student candidates from various study programs within the Faculty of Agriculture who expressed interest in joining the AIMS Programme. During the selection process, participants were assessed on several aspects, including academic readiness, communication skills, motivation to participate in international exchange, adaptability to multicultural environments, and their understanding of the objectives of the AIMS Programme. The interview also provided an opportunity for students to present their aspirations and expectations regarding participation in international mobility activities.

As one of the prominent student exchange initiatives in Asia, the AIMS Programme provides opportunities for students to study abroad at partner universities while strengthening intercultural understanding, academic collaboration, and global competence development. Through this program, students are expected not only to gain academic experience in different educational systems but also to develop leadership, independence, communication skills, and broader international perspectives that will support their future careers.
Through the implementation of this interview process, the Faculty of Agriculture Universitas Gadjah Mada continues to encourage students to actively engage in international programs and expand global academic networks. The activity also reflects the faculty’s ongoing commitment to producing graduates who are competitive, adaptive, and capable of contributing to the advancement of agriculture and higher education at the international level.
